Organic fibers are natural fibers grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic insecticides or herbicides, and without GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms), following the principles of organic farming.
GOTS certification also monitors social criteria, ensuring ethical labor and the absence of child labor, discrimination, or violence, among other factors.
These fabrics are more environmentally friendly as their production reduces energy and water consumption, with a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions by up to 94%.
